Strip down -remove aft deck

Fully stripped except for masts.  Note topsides caulking partially removed.

Top
Not sure if this is the new or old stern. Note most of topsides stripped and new fastenings showing.  Boat was re ribbed and refastened.  (Check Rob makes a note of how many Monel rivets were used in the ship's log).

Some repair work on the stem and the adjacent planking - must have been a problem here.

Aft section showing rudder box.  Note the additional ribs from aft quarter moving forward.  Top plank is missing.  Note the ropes to stop her collapsing and hold shape.  Engine still in the boat.

Re ribbed through to forward section, again starboard top plank missing.

View looking forward.  One of Rob's helpers on the rebuild.  Looks like top plank fitting.? Check terminology.

Top plank fitted - check name for this timber??
